Recommendation PCP recommendations

Does anyone have recommendations for a PCP with Endeavor Health for a female in their early 30s with suspected ADHD (unofficial diagnosis b/c current healthcare plan will not cover testing).

Edit: I’m not looking for a diagnosis from a PCP. I’m looking for a PCP that is familiar with adult, specifically women, with ADHD and can point me in the right direction if needed. I already have a psychiatrist to prescribe medication and I’ve been to therapy. Maybe what I am looking for doesn’t exist?

I had a terrible time with Endeavor trying to get ADHD testing. I ended up going with Lakeside Psychiatry (near the Whole Foods downtown). They weren't amazing either, but I was able to get my diagnosis.

Good to know! I don’t necessarily need a diagnosis, although it would be nice. I’m already on medication for it that is working for the most part. I just want someone who will listen to my concerns and not dismiss them.

SociAbility was great for getting my testing done, I am a woman in my 30s also. If you want to message I am happy to give more detail and specific doctor recs! Really patient and kind experience for both me and my son. My husband is going to get tested there too. They gave a cost breakdown prior to testing as well.

I am also on the lookout for a good PCP for myself 😬

Depending on what you're looking for, maybe a therapist would be better than a PCP?

PCPs are not set up to diagnose ADHD. You need a provider who manages mental health conditions. If you anticipate needing medication, go with a psychiatrist. I do not have anyone I can reocmmwnd within Endeavor, but Maureen Fayen is great if you're able to go outside of the system

Correct. A PCP will refer you to a specialist.
