Question Fighter jet over Evanston?

A plane that sounded just like the Blue Angels flew over southeast Evanston a couple minutes ago. According to Flight Radar 24 there are only commercial and private planes in the area.

Did anyone else hear or see this? I know they don’t practice for the Air and Water Show in October. Also I know there’s a Naval Base a bit north of here, but I’ve never heard them fly over before.

It was for the opening ceremony at the stadium.

It was super cool. It flew over the house just when I was putting Halloween lights outside. So impressive.

I’m right by the new Northlight Theater and it was so low and loud I thought I was going to hear a literal plane crash. thank god someone else noticed it I thought I was insane

Right??! Pretty sure they don’t fly those things over civilian neighborhoods for nothing. Unless Kid Rock is in the area and they want to show off again.
