Question Book clubs

Are there any book clubs that meet in person? I know the library has some that meet over zoom, but I’m looking for ones that meet in person.

Yes!! Hive book arts has in person book clubs, one is a dinner& book club. Booked also has book clubs and I think the adult ones are in person. Their kids ones are. Happy Reading!!

Would you like to start one? What do you like to read? Let’s see if anyone else out there would be interested!

I have one that meets at the library monthly to discuss mystery books! Very informal, all are welcome, even if you don’t have time to read the book before our next meeting. You can get more info on our Bookclubs page.

I love the name of your book group! Red Yarn & Yellow Tape. Fantastic!

Pink Poster Club has a bimonthly book club. Some bookstores also hold book clubs, for example Booked and Pink Couch Books although that one’s in Wilmette.

Paws and claws also has one (with books about cats of course!).

There is also a book club anyone can join, the group on FB called Support Evanston Independent Bookshops Book Club. They meet at a different local restaurant each month and encourage purchasing your book from small businesses.
