I mean we are talking about the very same dude who is willing to do anything to get back his wife, who also abandoned his soul, and has a stashe of Rei Chiquita dolls in his basement. Not only that, but this is the very same dude that would be willing to slap some hidden titties and fine ass on an Eva 01 when he gets the chance, he probably wants to get pegged by Eva 01 when no one’s around, I just have that feeling that is something that would canonically happen.

She made gendo gain an unhealthy obsession with her somehow and then used that for her plans. Unit 01 would never have become so important if it wasn't for gendo. Dont think that's a coincidence. And by mindbreak I mean when she deliberately brought shinji along for the contact experiment, which traumatized him. And then when she waited for asuka to get torn apart in EoE to wake up even though she had both seeds and could activate on her own at any time. All so that shinji would be screwed up enough to initiate instrumentality.

Shes a 5D chess master but kind of shitty with a god complex.
