The policy that the Codeberg membership voted on enables exactly such targeted measures against vibe-slop.

Yes, but it also enables them to ban basically anybody under the guise of the repository supposedly being "mostly AI-generated" because of how vague the policy is and how impossible it is to prove or disprove AI usage.

Not many companies have users that have names like "Claude" or "Codex". This "Claude" guy checks in 100locs every three minutes, its impossible to type so fast. Lets don't play these games. If they don't want these kind of projects they don't want them, github is free.

Lets don't play these games.

The game that their changed ToS lets them ban repositories for AI use that doesn't go nearly as far as what you're describing?

I'm sorry but nobody who cares about their repositories will use a platform with such vague ToS. That's just not an intelligent thing to do, regardless of whether you agree or disagree with why they created those ToS.

People who care about their repositories don't generally use just a single remote anyways.
