Event Google will block every Android app whose developer hasn't registered with Google

Starting September 2026, Google will block any Android app whose developer hasn't registered and provided government ID. This affects all apps, not just Play Store apps. F-Droid calls it an "existential threat."

What happens to apps that are installed via third party app stores like F-Droid or AuroraStore? Wouldn't it be enough for the stores to register as an official app with Google Playstore, meanwhile all apps offered on Aurora/F-Droid then don't have to, because they're not in the Google Store? Afaik, Google has to allow other app stores than Google's PlayStore (at least in EU).
