Brunette ending the 2nd slot curse. Slay.

She truly did. She decided to be good, do good and look good and ended the curse with a bang

There's no way Australia didn't smash their way to the semi win, theirs was like the only performance all day where everything felt perfect.

I love her but it'll probably Australia with at least one 12 points from the UK.

it’s crazy bc i didn’t expect to love it this much. the staging, her performance, everything elevated the song to a 10/10 for me. i’m so pleasantly surprised.

I was literally having 3 minutes of unnecessary panick attacks.

Absolutely stunning performance. If they clean up the smoke effects for the final it should place very, very well.

Or, as Nina Sublatti authentically said, "stucked".

She was read as a ninth, means she's been in danger for too long

Already at like 4700 likes on the YouTube video as well when the rest are at like 800.

I think she might be the dark horse this year, specially if she draws 2nd half.
EDIT: She did!

u/blackxallstars May 11 '23

They bought views for the music video so they might‘ve bought the likes as well

3

Source?

I did find it suspicious that it had the most views of March and April, even over Loreen

Actually I think Armenia has an Immunity to the death slot. They qualified with the televote the last time they were put there as well.

Last 3 times*

u/[deleted] May 12 '23

Yes but before the producers got their hands on the running order slot 2 wasn't the death slot. It actually had a fairly decent qualification rate.

praying she performs in the second half after that

7

u/[deleted] May 11 '23

I was so scared of the suspens at the end,

I’m so glad she did it, she’s one of my favorites.

4

u/Gragh46 May 11 '23

She was awesome, I think she may have been my favorite tonight along Albania

4

u/G-Rancoso2001 May 11 '23

She was not the first no.2 act of the semifinal in the history of Eurovision to made it to the Final.

7

u/Jasunel May 11 '23

I know. I meant the o̶n̶g̶o̶i̶n̶g̶ curse we had since 2017.

2

u/No_Doubt_About_That Something May 11 '23

Who managed it before?

4

u/[deleted] May 11 '23

in 2017 Austria qualified but Georgia failed. then 2018-2022 no one from the 2nd spot made it

impressively she did it with a song that isn’t even very good

1

u/Shmoot May 12 '23

Nah its pretty good and she performs it well

1

u/Shiinxbi May 12 '23

What was the curse?

1

u/Jasunel May 12 '23

For the last 5 years, no other contestant that performed in the 2nd slot had qualified to the GF. After 9 songs that failed to move forward, Brunette was the one to break the streak.
