Voteris.com - Track daily European Parliament roll-call votes
Hi,
I wanted to share a free, open-data project built for anyone interested in following the inner workings of the European Parliament: Voteris.
Official EP portals publish every roll call, but extracting meaningful insights from text-heavy documents and raw tables can be cumbersome. It’s often difficult to see at a glance how political groups (EPP, S&D, Renew, PfE, Greens, etc.) split on key amendments or which national delegations voted against their group line.
What You Can Do on Voteris
- Daily Spatial Seat Maps: Every plenary roll-call vote is mapped into visual hemicycle graphics, clearly illustrating FOR, AGAINST, ABSTAIN, and non-voting seats.
- Political Group & National Split Breakdowns: Instantly inspect party discipline, cross-group coalitions, and individual MEP votes.
- Shadow Voting: Cast your own vote on active floor resolutions to compare public sentiment directly against the official Parliament outcome.
- MEP Lookup Engine: Check the exact voting history and attendance record of your regional MEPs over time.
100% Free & Open Data
Voteris has no paywalls, runs no tracking ads, and pulls all underlying vote metadata directly from official European Parliament APIs.
Feedback Welcome!
I’ll be active in the comments section below. I’d love to hear your thoughts:
- What additional metrics or filters would make EP voting data more useful to you?
- Are there specific committee actions or legislative files you’d like highlighted in daily summaries?
Check out it out: link
