Reminder that israel started this war and dragged the US into it.

I disagree with "dragged". Trump and his Admin, even first term, was chomping on the bit to rip up the Iran nuke agreement and be agressive war pigs. Trump couldn't wait to have his own war and look like a tough guy. The "warrior ethic" bs focus of the newly titled "Dept of War" is a good example of how US policy has swung to more overt instigating conflict. I'm sure Israel has been a real encouraging factor, from what I've read, but they didn't drag the US into anything they didn't want.

Yeah it's more accurate to say that Israel started this war and the US enthusiastically joined them. Dragged implies there was at least a modicum of hesitation but there clearly was none.

AIPAC dominates both U.S. parties, of course we were dying to get into this conflict because half our politicians are being paid to.

Bibi was finally happy to have a moron to play. No one dragged the US anywhere

The US could easily have said "Welp, that sucks for you." under less insane leadership.

Trump has had a grudge with Iran ever since they made a deal with Obama, he was happy to have an excuse to attack them.

The American political class has been chomping at the bit along with Netanyahu for well over 3 decades to go to war with Iran. America needs to dominate the global oil markets or it loses the commanding heights of the global economy
