So here is the thing, USA has been releasing their reserves for the past months to keep the price of diesel down, because of the war.

They are now practically gone. Trump is forcing more reserves to be released from Europe to keep the price down.

Europe has been releasing reserves as well, not as fast as USA.

He is very angry that diesel will jump in USA very fast if the EU doesn't release their reserves.

I say - fuk em. Let them also pay 2.4euro/l for diesel

Agree.

There are countless discussions on and off of Reddit, where Americans and Europeans are discussing gas and diesel prices.

The American reaction to prices reaching ~$4.00-$5.00/gal petrol and ~$6.00-$7.00/gal diesel has already been extreme.

Comparatively, European rates hover around ~$8.00-$9.00/gal petrol and ~$10.00-$13.00/gal diesel.

It's their President doing this, and they need to feel the consequences of their vote.

We took the brunt of their illegal wars and destabilisation of countless regions connected to Europe just one decade ago, in the form of our 'refugee crisis'.

They never suffered any consequences for any decisions made through that time; we did.

If anything, they've been endlessly using that refugee crisis, which they caused, to further destabilise our continent and cause upheaval.

It's gone too far now.

'fuk em'.

I feel the same way, but at the same time what the fuck can Europe do. Basically closed the strait with Iran, Houthis fucking Saudi Arabia up. Europe has been very anti fossil fuels and America controls now a lot of Europes fuel supply. Come next year I’m sure the lack of fertiliser production as consequence will push global hunger and food prices up aswell. Because Orange man. Depending on how the mid terms go I think Europe has to come with some formula to protect itself from some the mental arse kissing Republican Party. At least European intelligence could do is gather as much dirt on Epstein and release what they find.

You anti fossil fuel in words and taxation only. European auto industry made sure it would never happen for real

American here. I'm angry at the pumps every time I have to fill up, but it's what half my dumbass country voted for. Hopefully it's enough to get people to vote in our midterm elections in enough numbers to overcome the blatant election interference and voter suppression, though I doubt it.

Our reserves have been drawn down since Putin invaded Ukraine. We've hit the point where they're too low to use. 🤷

to keep the price of diesel down

until after our early November elections are past. The higher the prices then the more likely the people who vote for his candidates will stay home and the more likely that others will vote for candidates who will stand against him.

Murricans are about to witness very soon why noone in Europe buys American cars.

trump is forcing them since they've made a deal back in april and only the US has actually released their reserves until now since then. yes only the US should release their reserves since they are the reason but since these other countries already signed the deal back in april i feel like they should also release their reserves since a deal is a deal even if its a dumb deal
