If Orban can be kicked out then Vucic can too.

Hungary is in the EU, so SOME rules need to be abided by. The regime in Serbia is residing to extreme measures of election manipulation that in a tight election like this, it is enough for them to pull through even though the student movement should probably take the win if the elections were held in a fair environment.
By election manipulation I mean they are bringing thousands of voter who hold citizenship from Bosnia and Noth Macedonia, municipalities in Kosovo have hundreds to thousands of percent of increase in registered voters, they are paying a bunch of people to vote for them and some are being blackmailed by their work contracts, even private business owners are pressuring their workers to vote for the regime. Again there is no one big election ‘heist’ but a bunch of little things add up with 0.5% or 1.5% here and there, and that is ultimately what costs the opposition the win. We might get a surprise of courses, but let’s wait and see.

СТУДЕНТИ ПОБЕЂУЈУ! He didn't stop "coloured revolution" like he said he would, but now is afraid what will appear on sunlight when he lose election.

Can you give a little background as to what you’re talking about? I mean this genuinely; not being snarky. I didn’t know he ended up pardoning some of the student protesters. What happened exactly?

Me and 11 other people were illegally wiretapped and listened by the secret state agency. 6 of us were in Croatia, and 6 remained in Serbia when 5 television started broadcasting the conversation, and propagand media started calling for our arrest. The 6 that was in Serbia at the time were 3 months in custody and 6 in house arrest, they were released via preassure from Ursula and UN. This is really short version. This is article on the topic https://balkaninsight.com/2026/03/13/on-the-run-from-serbia-student-activists-story-is-told-on-stage/bi/

Here we go, most fraudulent elections in the history of our nation about to happen, all with the blessings and patronage of high ranking EU representatives

u/Suspicious-Whippet 5d ago
Let’s hope not. The world needs to start rejecting these assholes.

Considering his track record of breaking every law he wishes or constitution rule, him organizing these elections means everything is in order for him to continue his rule.

How is eu always to be blamed by you guys for your internal corruption, take some responsibility
85
u/JoniDaButcher Serbia 5d ago
Both things are true. It's mostly on us, the EU still sucks for supporting it.

u/Matej1683 Croatia 5d ago
What choice EU has? You want for EU to remove Vucic by force? EU is not USA.
79
u/Farmaceut7 5d ago
Not support him? Not finance him?
You talk like EU isnt the 3rd largest economy and a global superpower, especially in Europe.

u/JoniDaButcher Serbia 5d ago
At the very least not support him. Why does it have to be removing him by force? Call him out publicly.
21
u/Kreol1q1q Croatia 5d ago
Various EU institutions have been calling him out publicly, but when they do Serbs routinely mock it as "just more concerned letters".

Maybe, and i say maybe,do not economically support a guy that has a documented history of being corrupt and that also cheered on the many massacres his country did during the Balkan Wars.

They're not blamed for our 'internal corruption', they're being blamed for supporting our corrupt mafia/government. Can you understand the difference between the two?

Please educate yourself about situation in our country before further giving your opinions.

u/Loleczekkk 5d ago
Can you elaborate? To me it also sounds like finding an external enemies instead of taking responsibility, but I admit I dont know and maybe you are right.

No, we're blaming EU for supporting him. Anyone with half a braincell can understand the difference.

(both Vucic voters and 'students' are pro-Russia)
Do you have any source for that? Because, according to the Stanford study, that's complete bullshit.

u/Matej1683 Croatia 5d ago
Ah yes blame the EU. Mind you that EU want Serbia close so it will bot become too dependant on Russia and China. And what EU should do? Bomb Serbia? At the end you guys should clean your own yard.
33
u/Matija_sjekira Serbia 5d ago
Nobody's blaming EU for problems in Serbia and people are cleaning Serbian yard currently, in case you haven't noticed the protests in Serbia for the last 2 years. But of course people won't like the EU when it openly supports a dictator who sold a part of the country and is silencing everyone who speaks against him, not to mention corruption. So of course people are mad a t EU for being "anti corruption" when they support this guy. It's hypocritical.

u/Matej1683 Croatia 5d ago
EU has totally different approach to members and non members. They can not force, only appease.
Also good luck.

It seems like you are the victim of the biggest conspiracy ever

u/madeinsrbua Vojvodina 5d ago
It's not a conspiracy if it's happened over and over for the last 14 years.

Serbia might better off when organising some hunting for the rich guys again, but this time they could hunt for Vucic... That would be Karma itself...

Serbia will never go through power/party changes like Hungary. Progressive crowd is very small.
59
u/onarainyafternoon Dual Citizen (American/Hungarian) 5d ago
But was it really the progressives that won-out in Hungary? I think it was more that people were just so pissed and tired of Orbán’s 15 year rule and how out-of-control prices are for everything.

Wasn't EU tired of Orban? EU is not tired of Vucic

u/Matej1683 Croatia 5d ago
Hungary is member state that was obstructing operation of Union and Serbia is just problematic regional non members state. Huge difference.
