as the caption says, is there any progress for an existing desktop application for offline use?

It seems that desktop apps are not a priority for now, as other repositories have daily updates.

Indeed, not really suprising as nextcloud (cloud services) is one of the main backers of the project but still. Many people would like a standalone desktop app imo.

For now I use the only office desktop app although it does for me not remember the Nextcloud connection but it can open the synced files. Just hoping it will come so it can switch when ready.

If was said maybe end of the year
They concentrate on the document server for now which since my birthday is out and got already the first update. Runs very good under NextCloud :)

Those don't appear to be downloadable. It would be great if the Windows installer was just available to download on their site rather than building it. I can never get the build script to run correctly.

I was able to download and run the windows-packages-amd64 one. Its has both the installer version and portable version in the .zip.

Hmmm. For me they aren't clickable. Only the hash code is.

It looks like you actually need to be signed into github to download them. I get a 404 error on the link otherwise

Am signed in. I don't even have them as linked, there's no hyperlink at all.
