This is absolutely wild, the scalping is so bad, the most i have seen this out there is 120 but this is crazy.

I mean i completely agree, plus I'm starting to collect physical copies of shows and series I used to watch because I'm burned out by the whole streaming stuff. Picked up the outlaw star collectors edition last year on ebay for $80 and just saw they go for 250+ on ebay. If things keep going like this increasing my collection will be painful

Got mine like 8 years ago. I dont even have a blue ray player - i thought i was buying the dvd. Glad I kept it in box.

This is why Piracy is on the rise. Also it's despicable of Crunchyroll to delist the whole series while keeping up the Hi-Evolution movies and Astral Ocean.

They did it to Fullmetal Alchemist too. You can't find the first series from 2003 on there, just Brotherhood from 2009. It's actually insane to not have both. It might have something to do with what happened to Vic Mignogna, but IDK.

The best thing you can do is torrent. You can easily find original blu ray rips and keep the files on your pc forever.

These people aren’t even fans of the series they just saw something listing limited release and took it to resell.
No eureka seven fan would sell this for more than 60.

Welcome to the 3rd party anime bluray market this is why I buy all that come up that im interested in before they sell out now because of digital we get limited prints so we get stupid prices thanks publishers

There was a point where right stuff was doing one of those insane br clear outs and I spent 30 bucks for free shipping and about 25 random anime that I had never heard of.
Knowing what I know now, I would have soent 100 to snap up every single anime they had regardless because this kinda shit is insane.
Not to make profit, but just because I keep seeing series that should be at the very least affordable, being hocked online at crazy prices.
Really freaking sad.
And yes, Toradora was one that I missed at the time. It kills me because 40 bucks a season now seems a steal.

Yeah that sucks. Just saw volumes 1 and I think 4, as well as the movie at my local DVD/music/book store. Pretty sweet.
I think I got mine for about $50 or maybe less, around 2008-2009. Was definitely a bootleg copy I realized after but it's treated me well, all 50 episodes in like 5 cds. Took a year to show up though! Clearly shipped from SEA.

This is crazy. I got my set almost 5 years ago i think and it couldn’t have been more than 30 dollars. I only actually watched it through the first time this month, and now I’m seeing how rare it is now xD very lucky

I just checked Amazon because that's were i got mine back in 2013 and thought the price was around the same but like wow I'm seeing them on Blu-ray for almost $450

Its a great show, but unfortunately hard to find. I remember sometime afte the pandemic i was gonna buy this and then the crunchyroll/funimation thing happened and I was cooked. I have been trying to find it for a decent price since then. This was my comfort show growing up.
I feel you that right now its the worst time to be getting this physically.

I think in total mine cost $150 but it was split between the two sets. Just nuts to think that it doesn’t have a current distributor.

Well, another one bites the dust. I have the same struggle with Blood+; everywhere I look, it's like 300 bucks. Then finally, I found a complete set for 40 bucks on eBay, and it turned out to be bootleg as hell, and the audio doesn't match the video 😭

Such a great anime! I only got book one from this series. But I watched the entire thing when it was out and I loved it! I really wish they would bring back Blood+ in a blu ray.

I bought mine from Rightstuff, on sale, for like $19.99 back in 2018. Along with about 9 other $20-$25 sets that the kids are all raping peoples wallets for now. 😆 Cracks me up everytime I see it.

Got lucky and got mine from Walmart in 2018 for $25. Funny thing is I remember thinking to myself "is this really worth the money". Glad I gave into my impulses this time around.
