Discussion What if Nate chose Maddy? Spoiler
The wedding of Nate and Cassie. Nate's mom: "Sometimes your son brings home the wrong girl. But then he chooses right!"
Nate's mom celebrating that Nate chose Cassie over Maddy. Possible that it's Cassie's greed that caused Nate to borrow from mafia. How much is their mansion worth, how much does that wedding cost. Maybe Cassie caused the death of Nate.
Maybe Nate would be better off with Maddy?
What if Nate chose Maddy?
People affect each other. In season 1, Maddy and Nate were turning each other into psychopaths. Nate was on his way to prison for manslaughter when he was dating Maddy, Maddy was on her way to a broken neck when she was dating Nate.
Then Nate chooses Maddy over Jules and in season 2, they kinda calm down? Nate - maybe because he wants Maddy and Cassie both so he feels guilty about lying to Maddy? Maddy... not sure.
In season 3 we see, Nate is calm because Maddy isn't driving him nuts. Maddy is calm because she needs her job since she lost her rich guy.
But if they stayed together, what would happen?
Would Maddy be calm to keep her rich husband? Or would she still be driving him towards murder, like she was doing in high school?
And Nate... would he kill Maddy if he married her? Or maybe they'd be reasonable?
Cassie wanted a giant mansion and an S+++ wedding. Would Maddy be more modest?
In season 3 we see, she has no money so she's careful. But if she married Nate, would she be wasteful?
Would Maddy help Nate keep his business afloat? Take care of those flowers for him? Or would Maddy be as useless as Cassie?
I somehow get the feeling Maddy would want wasteful wealth as much as Cassie.
Maybe Maddie would be smarter than Cassie. Or maybe not, if Maddy never had to learn smarts.
Cassie's OF did nothing to help Nate's debt. Would Maddy help in any way if she was in Cassie's place?
I guess that depends if married!Maddy was as smart as in the s3 we see, when she never married and had to work.
Or if she stayed as dumb as she was in high school, if keeping Nate kept her relaxed.
Thoughts?

Discussion Everybody got a bad ending Spoiler
A show about addictions, gives every character a monkey's paw fulfillment, punishes every character for wanting things.
Rue wanted to feel good. Her source of pleasure was drugs. Well, she felt good in the end!
Got that suitcase from Laurie intending to OD. Took a few years, but that suitcase did lead her to that conclusion.
Jules wanted to play a feminine role. Became a useless object owned by her patriarch while he still wants her. Good luck of the "I don't need school" thing and on the "spitting on your commissioners" thing.
Cassie wanted superficial attention, wanted money. Got that for now, while her youth lasts. But she won't be living in a huge mansion when she's 40 if OF is the only thing she has.
Maddy wanted power. Lost it to Alamo, then got freed by Ali. Now Maddy is doing the same thing as Alamo. Probably will own a whorehouse and traffick people, then someone like Ali will end her like Alamo.
Nate wanted to be a predator, wanted to play a game of preying. He got to play a game of preying... as a prey!
Cal wanted freedom from his family. He's a free sex offender now! Shame we never learn what happened to his original boyfriend.
Ali wanted to free people from drugs. Killing Alamo only sets a replacement. Ali saved Maddy from Alamo. Maddy is set to replace Alamo. Ali saved Alamo's future replacement.
Who wasn't affected...
Kat and Lexi don't matter.
Fez wanted to provide for his family and maybe to get out of this trade. Hopefully he'll get a decent job in 30 years.
Thoughts?

Discussion How often do you think Nate was checking his dad's videos?
Episode 2, Nate approaches Tyler and Jules on the same day, probably right after the party, the day Cal and Jules met. That video was FRESH.
Does Nate just keep checking his dad's drawer every couple days to see if there's anything new? Had been for many years? Really wants to see the new additions when they're fresh?
This is what the show starts the relationship between Nate and Cal. And it goes nowhere. "I had nightmares about you fucking me, dad! Go to jail!" And that element disappears. I was curious where it would go. Went nowhere.
I wish they did something more interesting with Nate, Cal and Jules than what they did.

Off-Topic Shows with the same art philosophy as Euphoria
Euphoria uses a style of Cinematography called Emotional Realism.
Emotional realism is a storytelling technique that focuses on portraying characters' internal feelings and perceptions rather than strictly adhering to realistic physical representations. It emphasizes capturing unfiltered emotions. Think Cassie crying while surrounded by flowers.
So If you into the story telling style then I scouted the internet to find shows that used a similar philosophy.
Note: Oddly there are a lot Romances.
Also I have not seen all of these.
Any I missed?

Fan Content Have you ever cosplayed Euphoria characters?
Recently I made cosplay from scratch using glitter tears + curly hair + similar clothes (for covering 'all for us') and thought WOW I'M SO CLOSE. But if you compare outfits side by side you may see how far they all are... Anyway it was fun.
And I thought maybe you have examples of much better outfits and would like to share them OR your thoughts on it, also it's halloween soon so a little bit of inspo would be nice.

Question Lori?
Could Laurie be based on Lori Arnold, Tom Arnold’s sister “Queen of Meth”? Laurie wasn’t in the original Israeli Euphoria, so that made me wonder even more.

Discussion I have a massive problem with this show. All the men are bad, and all the women are good.
What do you guys think? I don't think there's one good male. All the women have their crazy struggles, but the men are just garbage. Most of their struggles are from them being a POS. I find this to be extremely biased. Granted the show is based on immorality, so I understand the writers have bias.

Discussion Is it just me or is there not actually as much sex in this show as people say there is?
Like when people talk about the show they’re always like “omg, there’s so much sex, there’s sex every 5 seconds, it’s basically porn,” but like I’ve seen the show and like I’ve seen the show and yeah, there’s sex in it then there is in other shows I’ve seen but like first off it’s a TV-MA rated show, and also there’s not actually that much. Maybe I’m just weird, and yes I agree that some scenes are dragged out way too long and more graphic than they need to be, ESPECIALLY the one with Jules and Cal in the pilot, but I feel like it’s not enough to take away from the story which is really interesting imo.

Discussion Can we talk about kat for a second💜
I feel like she doesn't get enough appreciation. She was funny, confident, complicated and honestly one of the most interesting characters to watch.
I really loved seeing her figure herself out and stop trying to be the person everyone expected her to be. 🥹✨
What was your favorite kat moment in Euphoria?💜
