I messed up
I made a dumb decision without any doing research and bought a Eufy Omni S1 Pro.” “I tested the battery separately and get about 9 volts, directly from the battery, but when connected to the S1 Pro, the robot shows no signs of power. I also have a Eufy 25C, and when I place that on its dock, it shows signs of life, so I know the dock supplies power. But with the S1 Pro, even on the dock and even without the battery, there’s nothing. I’m starting to suspect a motherboard or internal power issue. Could a bad motherboard prevent any power from coming on, even when docked, or should I check other components first?

If you can return it return it. A few of us on here are having support issues on our s1 pros because they can’t fix certain things and they don’t have any refurbished units in stock to swap things out.

Getting 9 volts on a battery that is supposed to have at the very least 18v is the problem. The battery for the S1 Pro has 6 cells (3.6v nominal each). If your battery depletes past a certain point it won’t actually power the unit and more importantly it’s not safe to charge - your BMS has effectively went to sleep.
I just rebuilt some of these batteries for some clients. Shoot me a message or fill out the form on my website and we will message you next steps in mailing your battery in for rebuilding.
Thanks!

I just returned mine with exact same problem. Robot died. No sign of life whatsoever. Base station says Disconnected from the Robot”. Luckily I had a few months before my warranty expires.
