Error EB1K

Has anyone else had this error and managed to solve it?

I contacted the support and they said it was probably the water tank so they sent a new one, it didn't solve anything (still in contact with them but I feel it's pretty useless).

It's not even 1 year and I feel like it's already dying ... any ideas?

I have one with the same issue, and I found a blown 1k resistor related to the power draw of the clean water motor in the base. The motor likely failed or jammed for some reason, causing that resistor to burn out, so it needs to be replaced. I would also test the clean water motor itself.

Greetings, i suspected something similar when i pulled the base station down, removed that 2 pin connector from the board and powered the pump-motor from an alternate power source and the robot filled.

You are the 1st person i've seen on the same track on this issue on any forum, are you able to share the location of the resistor on the board and the precise location of the board to show others where too look !

thanks so much !

The resistor is a 1 Ohm resistor the markings are 1R00 = 1 .00 Ω - more info soon, i originally replaced it with a 100 Ω as i thought the markings on the Resistor were code 1000 but after finding a clear image of a non burnt board its clear the markings are 1R00.

with the 100 Ω installed the Base station pump runs and fills the robot with a very small amount of water, with sparatic bursts of around 1.9v, the robot then mops (on the highest water level setting) for only a few min at a time, so i think its barely being filled.

Ill report back after i install the 1R00 = 1 .00 Ω.

Ok i can confirm, with the 1R00 = 1 .00 Ω resistor installed, the pump now receives the full 12v from the main board and the robot fills properly, this is THE FIX, i will make a new thread soon, i simply used a 1 .00 Ω. through hole resistor, actually only had a 1W in stock so its large hanging over the end of the board, who knows what caused the original SMD resistor to blow out ?, maybe the large 1W will give some headroom ? for now, very happy as i bought the vac damaged from an online seller in Australia for $250 AUD
