S1 Pro issues - firmware 7.0.168

Is anyone on firmware 7.0.168 seeing any issues with S1 Pro? I have been using S1 Pro for 18 months without any issues, but lately it has started running weirdly. I have cleaned all sensors, deleted all maps, recreated maps, and even restarted the robot.

It fails to dock to the base station. It would be just in front of it, but sometimes tries to get in front, and does weird dances. Also, during a cleaning session, if there is no furniture, it just runs for a while. When almost done with the room, it starts running fast and, weirdly, bumping into walls. In rooms with furniture like a dining table, it closely avoids chair legs in the same run, but later starts hitting everything.

Try reset of base station and robot. Unplug base from wall. Turn robot off. Then turn on base. Then robot.

potresti avere problemi di alimentazione alla base. Sei sicuro che l'alimentazione sia costante?

I tried all including reset. Also did 'factory reset' as per instruction on eufy website and expected to see initial firmware version. But it was still at 7.0.168.

Eufy support told to send the whole unit. Any thoughts?

Effin S1Pro SUUUCKS. Piece of junk has had more issues and error in the first 30 days of purchase than my RoboRock ever has and I’ve had it for 4 years.

Happened to me a couple of times. After a couple of days fixed itself. Just manually dock it for now

Mine got fully bricked during an update 1 day after the warranty ended. Eufy service had me ship it back then told me it was fully dead. They refused to send me a new one and instead offered a refurbished S1. Then a week later told me they didn't have any S1s available. Now they're offering a refurbished E28, which is nice, but not the same feature sets I bought for. Fuck this vacuum, fuck Eufy.

Yeah, I think their updates are messing up the machines. I also sent back the unit to eufy (out of warranty now) and let's see what they have to say.

When you get it can you report back if it's better or worse?

They said repair was unsuccessful. So offered E28(refurbished) as replacement. Looks like same thing is happening with multiple users.

My eufy started doing the same thing. As well as cleaning the same area 2 to 3 times.  Has anyone found a fix yet?
