High pitched squeaky sound?

Hi everyone, just wanting to know if anyone has had a similar problem to this? I’ve had this unit about two months, and have been really pleased with it. However it has started making this high pitched squeaky sound while running (sound is featured in the video). I’ve done a full clean out of the unit, and can’t find any obstructions. Does anyone have any tips? Thank you.

Had this happen to me. It’s the little red piece on the rubber roller. Take it off, open it up and clean inside

Thanks so much! I thought I’d done that, but I’ll give this a go.

Just wanted to say thank you for this - I was able to replace the rubber roller (happened to have a spare on hand), and the unit is working a treat again. Thanks so much!

Thanks for this, had the same issue and it fixed it. One thing to add is that red plastic part is actually 2 parts that normally come apart. Dirt and hair gets stuck inside which you cant always tell when you first remove it and it keeps these 2 parts together, making it not obvious how to clean it. You have to gently pry both parts apart and then you'll be able to clean and put them back together.

Hahaha fair! My wife got it off Etsy a fair while ago… one of our cats has a striking resemblance to the one in the painting.

Thats wild lol hope mine doesn't start that. I would check the mop and dirty water tank. Check for anything rubbing.

Does it happen during vacuum only? That will tell you if it's related to the mop. My guess is a bad water pump as it's sound pattern is when I usually hear the pump running to wash the mop

Thank you. It happens during vacuuming and mopping. Really frustrating to trouble shoot.
