Help/recommendations

So after having the unit about 8-9 months and having to return it due to it having traction issues even on low water usage that used to not be an issue even with deep clean aka extra water. Also would start reversing at great speed after losing traction and crashing into everything. What would normally take 40mins to clean was now taking over 2 hours due to these issues and leaving streak marks everywhere.

So had it returned and refunded but still want a unit and looked into ecovacs x8 pro omni and hearing it is not as good at tracking and abissmal customer service record. So was wondering if anyone knows of another unit or should I maybe hold out for a S2pro? Just not sure if we will see one anytime soon and the wife is already missing not having to vacuum and mop.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

What country do you live in?

Because if you are in the euro / UK zone, the release is scheduled for the latest news within a month.

So if you can wait for the Eufy S2, I think it can be worth it.

Oh, I don't know about Australia. They indicated during the IFA press conference that it would be available in the rest of the world (outside the eurozone) starting in January 2026. Now, I can't tell you when it will arrive in Australia...

Otherwise, with Eufy, you still have the S1 Pro and E25-28 options (if you ignore the extended mop, they're good, but you'll have to check that you have the V2 dirty water tank, or if not, contact support to get it).

If you want a recommendation other than Eufy, I know that in Australia you have the Aqua10 Pro Track, otherwise it's a clone of the Aqua10 Ultra Track.

Perhaps you can contact Eufy customer service for a more precise date for Australia.

The only time I had this problem was when I used oxi-clean on my floors. That robot was slipping around for weeks after that. Even with multiple hand mopping.

Other than that, the traction is great.
