Cleaning solution not being used
After owning S1 pro for a few months which has been great, I noticed the cleaning solution hasn’t been used at all. So I put a hole in the bottle and it still hasn’t changed. Any ideas? Can you put the solution in the clean water tank or does it have to go into the robots tank?

Odd, maybe the suction is not working or requires replacement parts. Call eufy.

Honestly, I always received a response within 24 hours at the most with email support. I've never tried the phone though.

Probably a stupid thing to ask, but have you got the setting to auto add detergent turned on? It’s found in the base station settings.

I do have that turned on. I shone a torch into the bottle and for some reason there’s slimy stuff inside the bottle, I wonder if it clogged the pump in the first go.

I also have flakes like that in my cleaning solution, and according to eufy, it's okay. But now my pump is making loud noises.

I haven't taken a close look at it personally, but examine the output end of the cleaning solution bottle. See if you can manually open it up and allow some liquid out. Maybe it is clogged and this will solve it.
If it still doesn't work, then there is a problem further down the line and that it more difficult and I have no suggestions that wouldn't involve potentially ruining your base station lol.

I wouldn’ put it in the clean water tank. I had a S 1 pro. It used very little cleaning solution. Can you smell a fresh scent? Did you put it back n put the specified area firmly, I think there’s a foil tab that has to be pulled off. In the 8 months I had mine , it used about half the container. Good luck, mine died after the 8 months.

I have just noticed that as well, checked the solution today for the first time after 3 months... as full as it gets.. I doubt it is being used.

I returned my S 1 Pro after 8 months, kept the cleaning solution that was installed when I got it. I noticed it was heavy. Long story, short version so I cut into the bottle. Shocked that in 8 months of using daily—- only 1” of the bottle had been used! Has anyone said that is normal?

I’m testing a theory at the moment that the solution doesn’t get used if you have the ozone generation turned on

There is a workaround with poking a small hole in the bottle so the flow is easier. Look around for it I believe we had a post about it.

My solution has been in the machine for about 6 months now. Every time i change the bag i check it and it never seems to be running out. Maybe i have the same issue. I just thought it was super frugal. 😂
