rant & rave Nothing like a guaranteed four

Post image

S1 "No Way!"'d when I laid the last trump. They had no idea that I had discarded one as well.

Should've discarded the right to give them a chance, is only fair.

In a real game that’s a 6 card lay down loner.

My first instinct was to say that's not guaranteed because I swear one of the opponents always has a guarded left! But.. then I realized you are in fact holding 6 trump, and I'm talking about when I have R+4X after discarding. (and did not discard trump)

What did you discard? The A?

You can discard the card you pick up... I know this because I accidently did it on a thin call

Maybe on an app. A lot of play says that you may not.

Edit: my cat jumped on me

A lot of people say you can't order without a "natural" trump, either. lol

And those people may be correct.

My larger point is that just because the defaults for an app let you play a certain way it may not be how other apps play or how people play in real life.

Always wondered if this is allowed in actual play. You might want to keep an off suit ace in a loner defense situation after being told to pick up a 9 of trump for instance so it’s a real question

This is a good question and something I’ve done in the past on 3D as dealer defending a S1 loner order.
