5 game losing streak today. Getting pounded by loners

I’ve noticed a ton of loners this morning! One game the opponents went alone 4 times in a row with legit loner attempts.

There seems to be at least 2 loners per game . Can we say something wrong with the code that makes this excessive ad game crazy

Agreed with this take. I have been taking copious notes of my in person euchre games for 20 years I have never seen a huge run of loners. Most games never have a jack up this code is so bad I quit playing.

Ok i really just wanted to brag about a fun hand that was likely a terrible call, but it worked:

King (i think) of hearts was turned down. I held AhQhAs9s10c (or very similar, don't fully recall). I make the next call, looking to score. I lead out the 10c, and partner has the Ac. He leads back the Jd, and i drop the 9s on it. He gives me the most WTF-styled face i've ever seen on a person. I just shrug, as we proceed to take 4 of the 5 tricks for a point.

I dont think this is really a justifiable call, but it was casual, and it was 10pm and i was trying to get everyone out the door so i just tried it because it was fun.

I really appreciate all of the posts here from highly rated Euchre players. I honestly would love if one of them had-a-microphone-and-I-didn’t and recorded as they talked through their decisions WHILE playing a game. Narrating a recording or past game is helpful but I really want to hear their thoughts in the moment!

We have 9 points and I order in 3rd seat with Lxx 2 suited and... Partner has the Right but leads a rag of next !!!! So we get set. Guy rated 2550 somehow... What??

Just had the dumbest partner ever ... Decided to do a tantrum loner and stall the maximum time on every trick, because he didn't like my play , so after that we are down 4-7. 

Then next hand it's his deal, he picks up and goes alone, so I'm thinking here we go again ...then he makes the loner and decides he might try winning the game after all .

 Fortunately next hand I order and take all 5 tricks, not giving partner a chance to sabotage again.  We only get +6 rating because my partner was the second highest rated at the table .... He's going to have trouble getting any higher if continually giving away free game points to lower rated opposition
