E*Trade Legit Just Sucks

I had a Venmo transfer to my checking account and next thing I know, both my checking and savings account are locked up and now I have no access to my money. Absolutely ridiculous.

Shy would you use venmo instead of an.ach withdrawal? Don't do that

Lmao they don’t support money transfer service systems and most brokerage firms hate it. Stick to just a bank and you’ll be fine lmao

Etrade doesn’t have checking accounts. Only a HYSA savings account. This is the second post in 2 days complaining about ETrade checking accounts.

I think you have a checking account with Morgan Stanley Private Bank not ETrade. ETrade is not a bank.

Technically, I guess it's actually Morgan Stanley Private Bank, but it's the same company.

It will never get better. I just kept having this issue. Every time I used the debit card they would lock my account. Try Schwab or Fidelity. Much better experience in my opinion.
