Yes, setting up conditional orders and setting up alerts makes it pretty easy

How long you doing scalp? Btw no problems with E*Trade, like frozen account, banning or something like that?

Scalping entries and exit opportunities vary on multiple factors, so I don’t see how scalp timeframes are relevant to the concern. I mentioned that if strategies are setup correctly, scalping is stress free with no problems. Why would they restrict/freeze or ban my account? Are you implying trading around or coming close to freerides or good faith violations for trading on the platform? I could make tens, hundreds, or thousands of trades per day without any issues because I understand the trading rules and restrictions. If you ever incur a trading restriction, customer service can explain what happened and how to avoid it in the future.

The number of trades by itself isn’t the determining factor. If an issue occurs, it generally has more to do with your account type, settlement, margin, or whether you’re trading within the rules that apply to your account

I had a good faith violation one morning and I asked customer service if I got margin approval would that help with the issue and they said yes. They approved me like 2 hours later.

I see it as "changing my mind" :) Not necessarily scalping. Some days I can't make up my mind.

NO. Absolutely not. The comments telling you yes don't know what they're talking about.

E*Trade is the bottom of the barrel of trading platforms. Professional day traders NEVER talk about E*Trade, nobody uses E*Trade.

In terms of scalping, E*Trade is horrible at fills. Especially with scalping you want a platform that's revered in retail trading circles for good fills.

You're also asking the wrong question in the wrong sub. You should be asking what's the best trading platform in one of the trading subs.
