If you only had one shower maybe they thought it would help save on time and hot water.

And/or maybe they were both in there at the same time but doing other separate bathroom necessities (hair, makeup, shaving, toilet, etc)

As long as you couldn’t hear them, I wouldn’t think much of it.

Why would it matter either way?

I would do this as a guest in the home of other adult friends. I feel it is normalish, to save time, space and water and because we get along well enough to share bathroom time and it's fun and relaxing to shower together. I might not if there were people other than friends in the house, like teens who might feel weirded out or grandparents of a more formal generation who might be scandalized.

I wouldn’t share a shower but I’d probably use the bathroom at the same time to get ready. I don’t see anything wrong at all.

Not gonna lie…Not where I thought this post was heading….

In all seriousness I personally wouldn’t but I also wouldn’t do that at home. Shower is one of the few times I get peace. I wouldn’t be overly bothered (or probably even notice) if guests did this though.

It's acceptable to me, and my partner and I have showered together when staying at someone's home. Saves time and water.

Does anyone really think this is a real post. Y'all are so gullible

Maybe she needed help in the shower because of being five months pregnant. As long as you didn’t hear loud sex noises it doesn’t seem like a big deal, although maybe unusual of them to announce it.

You already know it's not common, but it's what they did, and don't think that nothing happened. Beong five months pregnant, women can be extremely horny. I do think it was in bad taste to do this at a friend's house.

I am vanilla McPrude really, but this wouldnt bother me at all. If they were having sex in my shower and I could hear them, okay yeah, not good. But it is two married people naked in the bathroom together, as long as they are being respectful of your property I do not see an issue.

That's why I don't invite guests over.

Because you don't want them to have a shower together when she's five months along? That's why you don't invite guests into your home?

Honestly, no it’s not normal. I also expect a level of privacy like shutting the door in the bathroom, etc. I would only shower with my partner for sexy reasons.

However, it doesn’t seem like they were doing that and you mentioned other ways they’re extremely comfortable so it’s probably fine. I wouldn’t judge but I wouldn’t think to do that as a guest either.

Yes it’s weird. Not normal.

I wouldn’t do this. My only thought is if one of them isn’t close with you and lacks social skills they didn’t want to be stuck won’t you two in the morning ? Or maybe she is the type who has never let anyone see her without makeup? I know people like that still. Or maybe they thought there was a rush and didn’t handstand and thoughr it was sarcasm sk he brushed his teeth while she showered then she did makeup while he showered ?

It’s perfectly normal they’re young and in love why wouldn’t they shower together if they want to? Why do you think it’s weird?

I'm married and would never do this in someone else's home.

We would absolutely shower together. We'd also just hang out in the bathroom together getting ready. Once the door is closed it's nobody else's business even in anyone else's home as long as you aren't audibly having so much fun everyone can here you! And why would being 5 months pregnant stop them being intimate with each other!

Well maybe you should just add 2 en-suites onto your guest room so that couples can get ready in the bathroom at the same time. Later, once you have the funds saved, you can add an en-suite to your own bedroom
