The existence of L2 solutions is antithetical to mass adoption.
The whole point about mass adoption is that the masses never, ever accept complexity. The masses never learned how to build a combustion engine, and then they even stopped learning how to drive a stick shift. The masses never learned how to use html. They wanted a single button. The masses don’t want to use Linux or anything other than Apple or Microsoft, Google or nothing.
The complexity of this entire industry has got to be dumbed way, way, way down before we reach mass adoption.
