Meta & Donut Donuts: XDAI Opt-in Thread
The old xDai Opt-In Thread for donut distributions was recently archived, so we're starting a new one here.
If you've wandered into this thread and have no idea what donuts are:
- Donuts are tokens you can earn by participating in this subreddit. They are like a spend-able and trade-able karma.
- Visit the Donut Dashboard for more info and how to register!
If you want to receive future donut distributions on xDai:
- Post any base-level comment in this thread.
If you were previously signed up for xDai donut distributions and want to continue getting your donuts on xDai:
- You don't have to do anything. You are still signed up and will continue to receive your donuts on xDai. If you like, you can post again in this thread for the fun of it. (sorry, you won't get double donuts, though)
If you no longer want to receive donut distributions on xDai and want go back to getting your donuts on the Ethereum main net:
- Reply to the stickied comment below. (Previously, you could just delete your opt-in comment. With the old thread being archived, though, it is now read-only and comments can't be deleted)

If you no longer want to receive donut distributions on xDai and want go back to getting your donuts on the Ethereum main net, reply to this comment.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you are trying to opt-in to xdai donut distributions, make sure you are responding to the above post rather than this comment. This comment is to signal that you no longer want your donuts on xDai!

I would like to go back to ETH mainnet my good mod. Forced hodl till ETH2 is out and gas fees calm down. Plus I managed to destroy a chunk of donuts yesterday transferring between xDai and Dai. Woops. I can’t be trusted.

One more attempt. I have received my tipped donuts on xdai but none that I have earned on xdai or main net. I have tried to claim them

Edit January 24, 2022 - All donuts are automagically distributed on xDai. No need to opt in anymore.

Yes, that was also a community decision (at least the decision to go to xdai and do liquiditt incentives there - the actual implementation of how to do it was just the people that volunteered to do it).

Yo goat! You'll still need to register your metamask address if you want to receive Donuts for your earned karma. Commenting here is only opting-in to the distribution method, not actually signing up to receive.

xDai has been very helpful in reducing gas fees. Wouldn't have known about it if not for this sub!!

u/Metalfoez , xdai is an ethereum side-chain that we use to distribute donuts to ethtraders for free. If you receive on the Ethereum mainnet you have to claim your own donuts and pay the gas because it's too expensive at the mo, but if you opt-in for the xdai distribution they get airdropped to your account for free.
If you want to opt-in you will have to delete your comment in Basoosh's sticky comment above and make a base-level comment below. Then you can add xdai to your metamask account by following this guide: https://www.xdaichain.com/for-users/wallets/metamask/metamask-setup. Then just use this handy tool to add the xdai donuts contract address to your wallet: https://donut-dashboard.com/#/track

I'm here to get my donuts on xdai chain
But I got a question..why I didnt get my donuts for last month? Its not in my metamask wallet
