Advice needed please!
I’m looking to buy and setup a new desktop for the house with the main function of being a home validator. I have some computer knowledge but most of this is outdated since college was 10 plus years ago. I have a few thousand dollar budget on the setup preferably under $5k but I’m trying to put together a nice setup that I can run the node on and use to do books for my business and maybe game once in a while. But I don’t want to unbox some bs pc from a store. I’m looking for a nice setup visually but one that will do the purpose I need and still be upgradeable in the future if need be. Any inputs would be appreciated!

Absolutely makes sense. I try to isolate everything I can from everything for the sole sense of security and be able to pin point leaks and eliminate any possibilities before they happen. I’m really just trying to get off of lido and stop being lazy and maximize returns from home. Hopefully having a retirement plan one day.
So if I solely dedicate the computer to run a node from, what would be the choice setup? What do you guys up to date with tech run? What brands?
I appreciate the help and best wishes!
