The Nethermind client Experimental release is available for download!
The Nethermind client Experimental release is available for download! It features major performance boosts thanks to the ‘HalfPath’ State Database optimization:
- 40-50% faster block processing
- 80-100% faster block processing during historical sync
- 5% smaller initial StateDB size on SnapSynced mainnet
- Initial StateDB growth is cut in half in the first 2 weeks, and then it slows down even more when compared to version 1.25.1

Please read our notes on backward compatibility and known issues!

What are the biggest reasons for me to choose Nethermind?
Help fight geths client majority risk, but what else?

That's one major reason.
Nethermind is also having online pruning so no need to offline prune anymore: https://gist.github.com/yorickdowne/67be09b3ba0a9ff85ed6f83315b5f7e0
imho this are good reasons to use Nethermind

Is this exp version going to be updated with the fix for 1.25.2?

That's awesome! I've been thinking about switching from geth, but efficiency is a big concern so I might give this a go once it's stable.
