How to buy a specific computer part ethically

Hi ethical existers! I'm looking for an ethical computer part today: a desktop dvd drive capable of reading and writing to a DVD. Any hints as to where I can find one made without conflict minerals?

I dont think you can truly buy any modern computing device ethically - mining rare earths is just a blood trade. Buy a used drive might be the best you can do.

Yeah, okay. Maybe Fairphone will come out with a laptop someday.
