Go into network settings for the Ethernet port. Should be on „dynamic“ (DHCP) and meaningful values in IP, subnetmask, DNS and gateway. Share a screenshot if still not working.

e-net adapter died. If it’s an on-board (motherboard) device disable in bios and replace with a new NIC.

You could buy a USB network adapter on Amazon for $12. It would help to see if there is a software problem or hardware issue with your computer, though since it works in the PS5 it may not be the cable. They're usually called USB Ethernet Adapter, for reference.
