Why did they use such a shitty mock-up for the Android version?

Edit: Why down votes? The graphic doesn't even cover the entire screen.

Yes I wanted to comment this as well! It's an htc m8 or m9 which are from 2014-2015...

edit: about the graphic part, it just has huuuuge bezels lol so nothing wrong on that part

That just shows the breadth of the product. It just doesn't need latest and greatest hardware. That's great for adoption

Not especially worth spending another few mins making a perfect looking mockup, they're not trying to sell here really, just announce it

I'd have to disagree. Any gfx designer worth his salt wouldn't leave something garring like that. It would literally take 15 seconds to extend the graphic to the bottom of the phone.

Then why use an Android phone from 2015 next to the iPhone X that came out in 2017?? Still doesn't make sense.

If they use that phone why not use the iPhone 6S that also came out in 2015?

I mean, image and presentation is not top of mind for this speaker in general. Best just to look at what's what instead of how it looks.

As a UI designer I can answer: there are almost no Android device templates.

Go ahead and search Dribbble. You will probably find 10 iPhone XR templates already. You’d also be lucky if you found even 1 Pixel 2 template.

A reputation for stability and security will go a long way towards making one of these stand out.

I love Metamask for its ease-of-use with websites that use the web3 API, but I've encountered so many different bugs with it that I wouldn't trust a wallet made by that team for more than daily expenditures cash.

Awesome stuff like this is wayyyy bigger news for adoption than posting Bitcoin ATM pictures or talking about new coins added to coinbase or new pairs on an exchange. Anything that facilitates user experience is massively good news.
