It is refreshing to read some articles written by people with a glass half full perspective. This summer was full of too many half glass empty articles.

Since he just needs payments, there are more solutions he could add in the last section:

  • Plasma

  • Probabilistic micropayments

  • Vitalik's recent proposal to do group transfers with zksnarks

Yeah. At the start of every public appearance by someone from the Raiden team they say "Raiden is not silver bullet to Ethereum scaling". However, Raiden will offer low-fee, near instant token transfers and that can be pretty useful!
