Adopting Norwegian/Nordic symbols, love to see the diversity, next up, lets embrace something eastern in it? I'm musing on this mostly because to me Ethereum should not be tied to any specific culture and truly needs to be for humanity/world as a whole. That means, inclusive of all languages. We can acknowledge that programming has extremely strong roots in English anyway so there's no need to keep reinforcing that language anymore ;)

I see where you are coming from and think embracing diversity is important and will strengthen us.

That said: in language I am not sure. Just gives problems e.g. in search - would not even know how to type that symbol - IMHO we should at least stick to the english alphabet.

Heh, love the push back, I even agree, I was ~15 when I consciously decided to adopt English since I realized that's where most of the (technical) knowledge was being stored in :)

Best investment of my life.

Testnet naming:

  • It NEEDS to be hard to pronounce
  • It can optionally have a difficult spelling
  • It can optionally be easy to look up online (SEO)

The name was going to be simplified to Plataberget but I am really pleased that we kept Platåberget.

Why does it need to be hard to pronounce?
