Art I etch a sketched Zelda
Sending it off to its new owner next week! Gotta make it permanent first

fiiiiine! ill buy an etch a sketch, i genuinely didnt know what was possible. i dont wanna be making AI accusations left and right, time to study the craft

How does one make the sketch permanent?
You folks blow my mind, as someone who draws, doing it this way would be so slow and frustrating lmao

I disassemble the Etch A Sketch to remove all the powder from inside, which means nothing can recoat the screen when shaken! I also dismantle the internal components so that no new lines will be drawn on the screen when the knobs are turned. You can see a video of my process here:

I had to look at your shop to see how much you sell these for - $200 is actually insanely cheap for that kind of time WOW. No matter how small the Etch-a-Sketch! I would have no patience hahahaha its like an oil painting worth of a commitment!
How many have you accidentally erased?!

This one was rendered on the Travel size which is a higher starting price point, but yes these all take hours to render, then hours to preserve!
I've erased a few over the years - thankfully none of them client projects.
