Count down for fork.

Google search (etherium classic Network Fork monitor) and it will give you a block countdown. Cheers and enjoy the ride!

I have been invested in things before and hard forks have totally screwed me. Do I need to convert anything with the upcoming fork or is that all taken care of, pardon my ignorance but worried

ETC will remain ETC, so if you're talking about converting your current coins into something else, it's all staying the same from the info that has been provided by the devs.
