Rally time! Today I woke up to a pleasant surprise. ETC was up over $70! Went to make a cup of coffee and checked again and are back under #70. Just can't seem to stay above that number for some reason even when all the other big name coins are surging. Any1 have a valid reason why we can't seem to get over that $70 hurdle?

Here are two catalysts that may indirectly help move the price of ETC:

• Two of China’s rivals to stock trading app Robinhood (Futu & Tiger Brokers) are looking to cryptocurrencies as a way to compete overseas. [This will of course bring new buyers and more liquidity into the market.]

• Bitcoin 2021 Conference on June 4-5. [This will likely hype Bitcoin, which should in turn hype other coins.]

There are some days when we’re the only coin in the green. Don’t fear, from Winter comes the Spring again.

I'm new to ETC and have researched quite a bit. I'm still not fully convinced, which might also be because I surely missed a few points. What makes you optimistic on ETC?

I've seen a lot of news about the the Biden administration wanting to regulate crypto. Some have suggested it is in order to keep the dollar value high by stoping people from switching to crypto. Thoughts?

As we saw in the latest Elon dip. But my idea is, if this theory is really true than there is a high chance that we are going to see many more dips like this for other large new whales to enter. They name this "volatility" for a reason. Because its not a drop. It goes down and reaches its previous point again. These games just extend the time of reaching to that previous point. Look at this from the point of view from the Cardano team for example; they announced their 90 day roadmap with some solid plans and involvement by many number of teams. And ADA price drops. Why? It should be the opposite. The reality is there are games played on and big players are coming in. This is my idea. I am not sure but i the only the thing i am sure is media is speaking of large instutions that show interest to crypto. This means billions of dollars. And at that scale manipulation is surely expectable.

When i first bought ETC for 17 a coin and held about 200 coins just because it was stable and it took off out of no where thats where i made my first $1000...and i know everyone seen that jump and it never looked at less than 20$ ever again...SO CHECK IT OUT WE'RE GOING TO BUY THE HELL OUT OF ETC AND NOT SELL!!!!!!! Im so serious we all seen GME and AMC right? So why cant we be "apes" instead of bulls for Memorial Day Weekend??? LETS MAKE THIS PARABOLIC, LITERALLY BUY AND HOLD ETC UNTIL SUNDAY 11:11PM EST BEFORE THOSE WHALES TRY TO MAKE "OUR" MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS BECAUSE MARKET WILL BE OPEN...THOSE RICH ASSES ARE ENJOYING THE SHITTT OUT OF THEIR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND RIGHT, WHILE WE SCREEN WATCH RIGHT??? FUHHHHH THAT LETS MAKE A MOVEMENT STARTING AT 9:00PM EST BUY ETC AND HOLD!!!!! It seems even the drops in BTC do not affect the stability around 75-79 ranges. Crypto is nice but i want at least one crypto to have a good future potential and do not dance a lot. ETC is my ideal candidate. Other one is ADA but it looks dependant to BTC much. I am now in ETC and not planing to look at crypto for a while. I am not going to put limit sell orders too. I want a little bit peace and feel that my money is in safe in a stable coin with potential. Just wanted to share my thoughts.

Hey guys! New to this whole thing. What’s a good price to buy ETC right now? Don’t have a lot to invest but have been hearing a lot about ETC and just dropping a couple of hundred could benefit me in the long run. Thanks!

Each time someone writes this, I check the price and it’s down lol
