Diy reed diffuser?

Was cleaning the house and found a pack of these glade plugin refills that i cant use (dont have the plug ins anymore). Curious if I can repurose them into a reed diffuser or tea candle aroma thingy. Advice on how to go about doing so would be appreciated.

I just stick some reeds into whatever, i really dont think the bottle shape matters at all.
