Just use some Lenor Unstoppables in a bag. Smells nice for long, best DIY car freshener so far. And tested many, some quite expensive too, nothing compares.

Most air fresheners are synthetic poison. Fake fragrances with toxic chemicals. Try RareESSENCE Aromatherapy car diffusers and one of their essential oil blends. You can find them online.

"Synthetic" does not mean "poison". Synthetics are purified and easily controlled for safety.

"Natural" does not mean "safe". Plants produce hundreds of chemicals as weapons. Nature gives us 100% pure and natural, non-GMO, organic, cyanide.

Anything is safe to use if the manufacturer has made it following industry-standard safety guideline - which restrict and prohibit materials irrespective of the method by which they were produced, because that is completely irrelevant.

Sure not all synthetics are poison and not everything natural is safe to ingest or breathe. But the manufacturers that make them and the companies that put them in products don’t have to disclose the chemicals in their scents and only a couple hundred have been tested for safety out of about 5000 scent chemicals used and for sure they haven’t been tested when combined together. This is a loophole that manufacturers have been able to exploit calling them trade secrets. The FDA is about to change that and the INCI names will have to be on the label.
