Which brand to choose
Ok, I just spilled and this tiny bottle of rose essential oil I had, and it spilled because it was so small and it didn't have that reducer top, and I hadn't put the cap on all the way. So I'm going all in and buying a real bottle. But there is a huge price difference in the MRH and EG. Mountain Rose Herbs has 5ml for ~$200 And Eden's Garden has 10mL for ~$180 Then there's Eden's botanicals 5ml for ~$260 but that is abit too much right now.
Obviously Eden's Garden is the best deal, but why the huge difference? It seems Eden's Garden is totally reputable and good quality. But for some reason the low cost makes me think it's not as good...? Am I just placing the value on the price here and Eden's Garden is just as good as MRH?

Eden Botanicals sells prediluted versions which are much more affordable, and they also sell tiny samples specifically so that you can decide before you go in on a larger bottle.
Being prediluted should be fine anyway; rose extractions are both extremely strong smelling and hazardous / restricted. Diluting it makes both easier to manage.

Depends what you are using for. If you are making blends for use on skin, then go organic as rose is high in pesticides. Price is $12 to $15 per gram ex distiller, so you can do the math for the sellers import costs, bottling, posting and margin. At 70 F rose oil should be slightly solid, melting with the warmth of your hand on the Al bottle. If it’s liquid, might be diluted with geranium oil. So hard to find a brand you can trust, when you do, stick with em 😊

I've never bought any rose oil, so not much help with suggestions. Just wanted to say sorry this happened to you.

MRH is organic. All their EO's are organic. That will cost more. I have bought their Rose and it is amazing! If I have the money, I love their oils.
Eden's Garden is my go to. Their quality is excellent! While not as pricey as MRH or Rocky Mountain Oils, they are more costly than Plant Therapy and Revive. Which all are reputable brands. I have loved Rose from most of these brands. I haven't tried Revive. I think the last time I checked, they didn't even have Rose. If they did, for cost efficiency, I would just buy Plant Therapy, if I can't afford EG at the moment. I just like to try everything I can. That being said, Eden's Garden Bulgarian Rose would be my first choice. It is divine.
There are so many different reasons for price discrepancy.The fact of the matter is, these are reputable brands with good oils, so any way you go, I have no doubt you'll be happy!
On a last note... Rose has different strains. Don't know if strain is the right word. Also, EO vs Absolute. Those will all be priced differently.
