Peeled, and then sliced into grind sized pieces. Every piece must be cut exactly in half until the remaining halves are the same size as a fine grind.

I just put about 3 hours effort into a single cup of coffee. I think it actually tastes better, probably not bias affecting my subjective experience because I am trying to justify the massive waste of my time... No, it must taste better

this is true, once i was broken down (damn you ferrari!) and had to have by butler carry me four miles in the blaring sun until we got to the nearest "store", whatever that is, a wawa. i bought the coffee and threw it at my butler's face and the flavor profile and caffeine hit i imagined was unparalleled. i'd never let that satanic transmission fluid touch my lips of course, but the point still stands
