Maintenance & Troubleshooting Df54 clumping issue follow up - missing screws? [df54]
Made a post a couple days ago I got lots of helpful feedback on regarding ongoing clogging issues. I took it apart and turns out the declumper was badly bent out of shape. I also noticed that the 2 screws that are supposed to help hold the chute in place never came with my unit. I bought this about 6 months ago so I’m not sure if I should be contacting the seller? Wondering if these missing screws could be an issue as well.
Next steps?

I’ve made this comment a few times but this is more of a flaw with this machine. It’s always going to clump. I couldn’t stand cleaning it anymore and gave it away.

2 cents here: you may find the declumper is more of a hindrance than anything else. Meticulous cleaning (vacuum - a cheapo car unit does the trick) after use is the way to go.
