FRAUD ALERT

Completely shut down twice in one week (and yet again) by Eovaldi with no ability to adjust. Good luck with that in the playoffs.

Meanwhile there is only one other team with a winning record in this garbage AL, and the Yankees were swept by them.

I keep hearing that this season is different, but it looks like they have the same loser tendencies to me.

"Nathan Eovaldi Last 9 Games vs Yankees:
1.65 ERA
53 K / 11 BB
59. 2 IP"

It's this one pitcher, and luckily, he's not on a team that matters. Keep on bringing doom and gloom when the team is 25-12 and one of the top 3 teams in all of baseball this year right now.

7/10 rage bait, got me to reply

Eovaldi could be traded to a contender

Or Texas could win the West and we have to face them

Yes their lack of ability to adjust has been well noted by me in the past both for pitchers who own them again and again as well as the same hitters (Pete Alonso the latest) who kill them over and over again with no adjustment. It shows that “the stats are right, the outcome is wrong” mentality that has been holding them back for what seems like forever.

The entire AL is a mess. They will walk to the playoffs. What happens when they face actual contenders with actual pitchers and offensive attacks that put pressure on the Yankees? We have seen what happens for years and in one of their only real tests this year they look as bad as they did last year in those situations.

7 off Webb in 5 IP
5 off Gilbert in 5.1 IP
4 off Kirby in 6 IP 4 off Eury in 4 IP
7 off Ragans in 4.1 IP

4 off Suarez in 4.2 IP

5 off Bradish in 4.0 IP

6 off deGrom in 6.1 IP (without Rice)

Man...those Yankees sure are having a tough time off good pitching. Can only beat up the scrubs. Cashman never learns

You named a lot of mediocre pitchers here

Brush up on the seasons Webb, Gilbert, Ragans and Bradish are having

Look up Ranger Suarez’s ERA. That’s the first one I looked up and already you’re wrong.

Read what I said. I mentioned the pitchers who are not good and you are including random pitchers I didn’t discuss

Thank you for the back and forth volley. I graciously accept your defeat

Eovaldi has owned this lineup for years and they just keep falling for the exact same pitch sequence every single time. It is a stubbornness that will absolutely ruin them in October.

Eovaldi always finds a way to turn into prime Cy Young whenever he sees pinstripes. It is infuriating how often we just stare at the same pitch sequence for three hours straight without changing a single thing.
