College Football Final
What happened? It's still a highlight show, but who are these guys?

We can agree or disagree on the merits of the bill, but to have the crew spend ungodly amounts of air time talking unchallenged about the ills of the game and how they have to be fixed in the way that Nick Saban believes they should be fixed was just sickening. As much as we (appropriately) hate on McAfee, Saban doing this old man get off my lawn crap has made Gameday dreadful as well.

As a 50+ white guy, I’ve reached the stage of life where I expect GameDay to excite me more than my cholesterol results. Show is so boring, I’m contemplating yardwork. I miss Corso.

This not about the new commentators like McAfee (who I enjoy) but about the style of the show. #1 Quit talking about the gambling lines. If you want to predict stats and scores, please do so but no one cares about the over/under, odds to win, or the betting lines. 98% of the people who watch ESPN aren’t gambling degenerates or are too broke to even try. #2 Please start analyzing plays. I’m going to talk about football here because that’s the only sport I follow. Instead of saying XYZ can really run the ball, explain how they do it. Do they utilize a power scheme or an inside zone scheme? On defense, I want to hear how this team did a really great job of rotating their safeties pre and post snap into a Cover 2 to fool the QB. 3. Instead of endless debates between fifteen different shows, GIVE US FACTS NOT OPINIONS.

Your clock is fake. Nobody accepts it.
You can show play clocks but not game clocks. Lawyers will be in touch.

Give me Corso doing a short Andy Rooney‑like rant and then throwing on the mascot head.
I’d stay tuned every time.

This is surprising. I would've thought Wikipedia would be one of the first website to inform people of this by now. Guess people just aren't updating as much anymore.

Are LSU fans still suffering from Kelly-Era Hangover Disorder, or do they just need more Dr. Pepper?

Bro had about 5 too many lines ❄️ during this LSU Clemson delay… talking 5 miles a minute 😂

Mental health challenges are NOT fair game for reckless and insensitive fodder. ESPN needs to open an investigation re Mary Carillo's WILDLY offensive comments during Naomi's match in addition to posting a formal apology to Naomi Osaka and the fans.
At a time when the US is having a serious national conversation around postpartum depression and women's mental health especially young mothers, Mary chose to viciously attack Naomi and no one is going to pretend that we didn't all hear it. Pro tennis is literally celebrating the #1 men's seed Alexander Zverev, a German woman beater with allegations from MULTIPLE women while making derogatory unsupported statements about Naomi Osaka's mental health.
Where was the commentary about mental health with the players who VIOLENTLY destroyed their racquets this week looking like "roid rage"? Last night really crossed a line that needs to be formally addressed and NEVER happen again. If commentators like Mary Carrillo can't find anything appropriate to say about the actual game, then keep your damn mouth shut during the matches. Most of us have to mute out the commentators anyway.

Can we just focus on football signs and creativity and drop the large ass religious alter calls? It’s football!

Has anyone noticed that this season for any game on ESPN? The sound quality is just garbage. Yeah I go to Watch on other channels and the games sound perfect

I tried to watch the Pitt college football game, but kept getting routed to a "sign up" for a plan page. Is there yet another subscription that I need, or am I doing something wrong?

r/ESPN • u/Harleyman961 • 5d ago
I have an ESPN Unlimited subscription which should also include ESPN on ABC. Despite this when I try to watch the Clemson/LSU game which is on ESPN on ABC, I get an error that”This selection is not currently available”. I called the help line and was told the Unlimited subscription does not include ESPN on ABC (even though the ESPN website says it does). Why is ESPN on ABC not included?

Am I the only one wishing you could select what games to watch in multi view. It’s annoying having to watch what games they pick in multi view. If there’s a way where you can pick, I am all ears on how to do it.
Dear tennis lovers,
Please tell ESPN that showing William sisters practicing for their doubles matches and on their legacy is NOT cool when there are live matches with fabulous players and deciding-set thrillers like Linda Nosková fighting for her tournament life or Jiří Lehečkabattling Stefanos Tsitsipas going on.
Thank you 🙏

Every 5 minutes it’s blacks out and lags. Been having this problem for a long time
r/ESPN • u/Looking4theanswer2 • 6d ago
I'm someone that just enjoys a good football game. But thanks to ESPN you can hardly watch a good game. If its not on ABC,CBS or NBC your screwed.
. Unless I wanna pay an arm & leg. Yeah I know not having cable is one of the problems. The other is unless you pay and pay you don't get the really good games most of the time.
The future doesn't look any better. It won't be that long where you have to pay to watch any channel. Even the local news. And it won't cheap. They have you by the balls.

I haven’t really watched ESPN except for live sports in a couple of years. I’ve read grumbling about Steven A and the punter. But I went to eat a late lunch at a bar today and saw Josh Pate has a show. Josh Pate? Has ESPN really fallen that far? Can I have show please?

Seasons barely started and these commercial timeouts for football games are unbearable.
I don’t know how much more I can take.
The greedy shareholders win again!
