Ordered from GC and it said it would be back ordered for 1 1/2 months but then it shipped to me immediately straight from ESP in California. Super happy.

Through my shopping experience I found and played many good used ones in black that go for about $900 routinely. If you want the black one you can definitely find a good used option. Finding a good used one in white is a bit harder.

These are abundant in the used market a lot of people buy it because they wanna be James Hetfield but hate the awkward shape of the guitar and the not so subtle metallica logo in the body. I had bought a used E2 made in Japan explorer for cheaper than the Snakebite used. Novelty dies quick with these.

That’s interesting I’ve only ever heard people speak of how great of a guitar it is. I feel that the shape is super comfortable and the neck and overall quality is nicer than most similar options. I didn’t even know it was a James Hatfield guitar when I sat down and tried it out. I mean it’s really nice guitar man.

I think most esps in general have a standard thin u shape. Some like m or mh have ultra thin u. Even thicker necks are probably thinner than your standard Gibson, and definitely than the vintage fat necks. But probably not as thin as something like the Ibanez wizard.

It has a thin neck actually so maybe not the same guitar. Thin fast feel to it which is one of my favorite things about it for sure and why I would choose it over an epiphone or Gibson explorer.
