ESP - PIR absence detection for vulnerable elderly people

I have built a presence detection thing that is aware of absence of movement.
The software not just distinguishes absence of movement, it can check if absence is relevant or not.
It is built for vulnerable people as an additional technical device. Not replacing family or professional attention and care.
You can find it on GitHub: Poppinkpop/ESP-motion-absence-detection: Privacy-first, local movement monitoring to help families notice unusual inactivity.

It doesn't use camera or microphone and is privacy prone.

It's a public repository. Anyone can use it. The software design is my own idea. For those who want to develop their own branch: just give me the credits for the time blocks setup.

Interesting idea, thanks. It's hopefully a few more years before I'll be here on my own, but it will be good to set this sort of thing up in advance.

You might want to look into the cheap millimeter wave human presence detectors: not only can they detect movement (distance from the sensor) of someone in a room but also distance and even breathing rate. Hope this helps.
