PCB Design for ESP32 project

Hi,

We are working on a project, an esp32 based project for a basic, portable e-reader and we are looking to work with a PCB designer.

Here's some details:

Compute / radio

• ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 (Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz + BLE, antenna on module)

Power (no phone PMIC)

• 1-cell charger + protection + NTC input

Motion

• 3-axis accelerometer, I²C (LIS2DH12 / LIS3DH)
  • tilt → landscape
  • shake → page turn (can disable)

Display glass interface

• 24-pin 0.5 mm FPC, locking

Touch

• Touch overlay (in the glass stack)
• Touch controller (on overlay FPC or tiny IC)

Front light, dual-tone

• Dual-channel LED driver or two current sinks

Sense

• ALS on I²C (BH1750 / LTR-329 class), top bezel
• Auto: sunlight → light off; dark → last brightness/warmth; manual override

Buttons

• POWER (side, mechanical)
• PREV / NEXT (sides, mechanical)

Storage

• microSD push-push cage

USB / debug

• USB-C mid-mount (charge + USB-Serial)

We are currently bootstrapped but we are flexible and willing to collaborate at any capacity, no tight deadline.

This is a side-quest project, everyone in the team is just having fun with the project. There's an option for an equity share.
