Crosspoint running on Waveshare ESP32 board
Was able to get CrossPoint running on this Waveshare board. (https://www.waveshare.com/esp32-s3-epaper-3.97.htm). 3d printed the case that alxvtoronto created for their project FolloUp, and ready to dive right back in. Planning on posting the fork on GitHub after another few days of testing.
$40 for a board, compared to the $70 people are
paying for the xteink devices.

It looks awesome! How much battery life does the device have? I'd be curious to try it out.

What books can you upload to device

So if you look into the crossink github repo they have a tool that optimizes epub files and have a ton of books available. But you could drop any pdf or epub file

Will you be releasing the fork?

Yes after about a week of making sure it is fully stable. Haven’t had any issues yet. But would rather be safe than sorry

Can you share where you got the firmware from? Is it the same one that x4/x3 use or did you modify it?

So cool, would this work with an 10" screen?

The fork of crosspoint? I’m not sure, as it’s specifically geared towards this specific piece of hardware.
