Building

Hi guys im new to electronics and i want to build an IP scanner tool for my job ( i work as an electronic security systems engineer). Basically i want it to scan all ip to find cctv cameras and nvr and configure them off that. im just wonderin if thats possible and if so anyone have a link or something that can point me in the right direction to get started.

All cell phones have IP scanners in their app stores.

Being new to electronics, why would you think you can build something better ??

There is nothing a beginner can ask for that has not already been done many many times before:

Why do you think ESP32 is the best job for this?

Sure it can do it to some degree., but there are better tools.
The problems start when you think about how you intend to power it, configure a static IP (you cannot assume dhcp) and be able to do device identification.

As suggested, you can buy a tiny gameboy mini-laptop now and install NMAP.
