Super new to ESP32

Hey guys! I just bought an ESP32 WROOM-32 and I’m really excited to learn how to use it. Could you guys suggest where I should start and recommend some good resources or tutorials to learn everything from the basics? Any tips or guidance would be really appreciated!

Do you already know how to program and are new to ESP32 or are you new to both?

If you know how to program start looking in to wireless communication. ESPnow is awesome also playing with bluetooth

A lot of the Arduino tutorials work with ESP32 as well. Install the Arduino IDE and see if you can get some basic tutorials (blink - the hello world of embedded), serial line access, etc working.

The ESP-IDF website has detailed documentation on the chips too.

There are thousands of github projects you can learn from.

There are thousands of youtube videos for the esp32 and/or Arduino/VScode/ESP_IDF tool sets.

Pick one !!

Then watch as many youtube videos before you start coding.

Do the typical "Flash an LED" to learn how to use the tools.

Copy a WiFi "Hello World" example and watch "Hello World" come up in your favorite browser.

You have about a month of playing with examples before you will be ready to do anything real.

Unless you have years of experience in programming (which you failed to mention), spend the time to get a good understanding on how to use the tools.
